Whether for broadcast, community engagement or as a tool to raise awareness and influence power, our passion is to give those living on the margins of society a voice, a voice dedicated to improving their lives and the lives of those around them.

What started out as a series of acting workshops for a group of excluded 15 year olds became, thanks to the brilliance of the young people, a six month project that produced The Real Notting Hill, an improvised drama written and performed by the students was screened on Channel 4 and nominated for a BAFTA.
Royal Foundation. Drama/Documentary - 30 mins
A bittersweet tale of young romance set against the backdrop of peers, pressure and a brutally adult world.
Lead by industry professionals Guillemot was developed over a six months and introduced 20 young people in Nottingham with lived experience of care, homelessness and the criminal justice system to all aspects of filmmaking.
The project culminated in the production of a 30 minute drama screened at our ‘Big Event’ at the Vue Cinema in Nottingham attended by HRH Prince Harry.
Skills transferred included acting, improvising, writing, directing, producing, location scouting, camera, sound recording, editing, marketing, event management and poster design.

Animation co-created with 20 late teenagers suffering from acute eating disorders for the B-EAT (National Association of Eating Disorders).
British Council Zimbabwe. Documentary - 20 mins
2nd part of the BC film filmmaking project co-creating a documentary about Zimbabwe’s leading contemporary dance company.

• Deliver the learning resource through the authentic voice of young people.
Results:
• 16,000+ young people improve understanding of the issue.
• 500 toolkits sold, 200 workshops delivered.
• Workshops improve 1200+ young peoples’ understanding of the issues.

British Council Zimbabwe. Drama - 60 mins
Filmmaking programme to introduce aspiring Zimbabwean filmmakers to our micro budget filmmaking techniques culminated in the production of this feature length film screened internationally and on television in Zimbabwe and Nigeria.

After a night of spin the bottle and booze, Chrissie spends the night with Jon. When she discovers she is pregnant, she turns to Jon for help.
Developed and performed with a group of young mothers in West London CHOICES was part of a wider high impact initiative to engage young people in the issues surrounding sexual health and teenage pregnancy.
‘CHOICES’ has played a key role in helping to reduce the number of school age pregnancies in the borough by nearly 40%.
Outcomes:
• The film has been delivered across schools in West London by Teenage Pregnancy professionals and members of the cast and crew
• Workforce development training introduced using ‘CHOICES’ to educate professionals on the issue of teen pregnancy and sexual health

Summer Lovin was the result of summer film making programme that engaged 30 young people from the Barking in all aspects of film production in a contemporary take on the 1978 film GREASE starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John.

Short film and educational project with Nequela Whittaker about young women, often involved in gang violence, coerced into going to the country to deal drugs.
Flipvanmoon interviewed up to 30 girls with lived experience of the issue and was developed with and starred Nequela Whittaker, ex offender and gang member who now mentors young women at risk.
Nequela is now a writer, educationalist and leading anti-gang spokesperson and recently appeared on BBC, ITV and C4
